How to Download MT940 Bank Statements (Dutch Banks)

Providing MT940 files significantly improves the efficiency, completeness and auditability of your accounting records and Dutch tax compliance.

Practical Compliance Notes

For each reporting period, please ensure:

  • All Dutch and foreign currency accounts are included
  • The reporting period is complete and continuous
  • Opening and closing balances are visible

Incomplete bank data may delay bookkeeping, VAT filings or Dutch corporate income tax compliance.

Where appropriate, we can assess whether automated bank feeds or API-based integrations are suitable within your Netherlands tax structure and accounting framework.
